Ronald McDonald House
of Akron and
Ronald McDonald House
of Cleveland, and by awarding grants to qualified
not-for-profit organizations whose programs improve the
quality of life for children and their families in
Northeastern Ohio.
RMHC-NEO, in partnership with University Hospitals
Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital, has launched the
Ronald McDonald Care Mobile to provide dental
service to children ages 3 to 6 in several counties in
Northeast Ohio.
How YOU Can Help Us Help Children
Did you know
that every time you buy a Happy Meal®
at a participating McDonald's®
restaurant in Northeast Ohio, you are helping children
and families in need? A donation from the sale of each
Happy Meal goes to financially support the programs
funded by grants from RMHC-NEO. On average, approximately
$60,000 is donated from Happy Meal sales each year to
help children and families. This is how we use
those funds.......
The Board of Directors of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeastern Ohio, Inc., (RMHC-NEO) recently awarded grants of over $134,413.11 to area non-profit organizations whose services are provided to children. Established in 1987 by local McDonald’s Owner/Operators, RMHC-NEO has awarded over $8 Million to children's programs across Northeast Ohio, including on going financial support of the Ronald McDonald House of Akron , Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland and the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile program as well as other organizations that help improve the lives of children and their families. » Read More
How We Help Children
RMHC-NEO funds ways to
change a child's life for the better. We
do this through supporting the
Ronald McDonald House in Akron,
the
Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland, our
Ronald McDonald Care Mobile, and our
grant
program.
In 2009, when other grant-making organizations across the US were reducing their grant awards, RMHC-NEO awarded over $500,000 in grant funds - our largest funding year in our 23 year history - impacting the lives of thousands of children and families.
